A man from Jackson, MO has been charged with ftwo counts of felony child abduction after he allegedly kidnapped his children from a domestic violence shelter in Ozark on July 10th.
Christian County Prosecutor Ron Cleek says Scott Pikey, 39, also violated a protection order when he tracked his ex-wife to the Freedom's Rest domestic violence shelter by using the GPS-enabled sensor in her car.

Authorities say Pikey waited for a client to drive their car through drive the shelter's gate, which is accessed by a key code, and followed it onto the property.
According to the probable cause statement, Pikey's estranged wife was in the shower when she heard her two children yell "daddy." By the time she got out of the shower Pikey and the children were exiting the property. The woman called authorities with the license plate number and description of the car.
Scott Pikey was pulled over and on Highway 65 in Ozark within minutes of the alleged abduction.
Pikey, who has pleaded not guilty, is being held in the Christian County jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
