Sgt. Andy Davis says that three people have been arrested and charged with first-degree drug trafficking. They are the driver, 45-year-old Raul Perez Rodas of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and two passengers, 30-year-old Rafael Herminio Molina-Vazuez of Philadelphia and 22-year-old Alayssa Melo of New York.

Three people are facing drug charges after an 18 wheeler they were traveling in was stopped for a traffic violation on I-44.
The Phelps County Sheriff's says that on a deputy became suspicious during the stop and asked that a drug-sniffing dog be brought to the scene. The canine hit on 130 pounds of cocaine with a street value of $1.6 million in the tractor part of the truck.
