Cops Looking For Sex Offender Who Walked Out Of Neosho Hospital:

Richard Rogers

McDonald County authorities need your help in locating a sex offender who walked out of a hospital where he was being treated for heart problems.

Cops busted Richard Rogers on February 26 for failure to register as a sex offender out of Arkansas. Sheriff Robert Evenson says that Rogers had been living in the Rocky Comfort area under an assumed name for the last two years.

Rogers was transported on Sunday to Freeman Hospital in Neosho where he was being treated for elevated blood pressure and heart problems. Evenson says that Rogers had been furloughed from McDonald County custody Monday afternoon and was to report back to McDonald County jail after he was released.

Instead, cops say that Rogers’ girlfriend, Diane Thompson, brought Rogers clothing and money and drove him to Oklahoma where they believe she dropped him off at a truck stop in Big Cabin.
