Ten Branson Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minors



During a random compliance check of thirty three restaurants and a winery in Branson on February 25th local police officers found only ten that served alcohol to minors.  Chief Carroll McCullough said in a news release that the department was aided by three minors in the sweep last week.  He also says the department will continue to conduct random checks to catch businesses that violate the law.

Citations for the sale of intoxicants to minors were issued to clerks at the following business who allegedly broke the law:

  • Branson Grand Bar & Grill, 245 N. Wildwood
  • Sharkey's, 239 Shepard of the Hills Expressway
  • Bleu Olive, 204 N. Commercial St.
  • Old Chicago, 801 Branson Landing
  • Pizza Hut, 1050 Branson Hills Parkway
  • Tijuana Willie’s, 2001 Missouri 248
  • Buckingham’s Restaurant & Oasis, 2820 W. Missouri 76
  • Charlie’s Steak Ribs & Ale, 3009 W. Missouri 76
  • Little Hacienda, 9 Treasure Lake
  • Stone Hill Winery, 601 S. Missouri 248.

Compostie Photo Of Alleged Suspect Released In Fall Creek Inn Robbery:


Authorities in Branson are looking for two men who allegedly robbed the Fall Creek Inn on July 16th, and have released a composite photo of one of the suspects.

Around 5:20 a.m. the clerk working told police that two men entered the motel on Highway 165, showed a gun and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the men fled in an unknown direction of travel. The motel had no surveillance cameras at the time of the robbery.

The first suspect, for which the composite was made, is described as a white male, 25 or 26 years of age, about 5-feet 8-inches tall, 150 pounds with short blond hair, last seen wearing a white tee shirt and jeans.

The other suspect is described as a white male in his early '20s, 5-feet 6-inches tall, 140 pounds with dark hair and a tan complexion, last seen wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.

Police Chief Caroll McCullogh says the investigation is ongoing, and asks anyone with information about the armed robbery to contact the Branson Police Department at 417-334-3300, 9-1-1 or the department's anonymous CATCH line at 334-1085.

Branson Police Investigating Pair Of Weekend Motel Robberies:

Authorities in Branson are investigating two weekend robberies at motels that happened within 20 minutes of each other Sunday night.

Police Chief Carroll McCollough says a man entered the Spinning Wheel Inn on Schaefer Drive about 7:10 p.m. and demanded cash from the clerk who ran into a back room. The crook fled hotel without any cash.

About 20 minutes later the Super 8 on Green Mountain Drive was held up. This time the thief displayed a handgun, swiped money out of the clerks drawer then fled.

Investigators are working to determine if the robberies were committed by the same person. Police are looking for a white male who was driving a blue compact car with Texas disabled license plate 8J MML

Branson Police Need Help Identifying Vending Machine Thieves:


Authorities in Branson need your help two men caught on surveillance footage stealing from vending machines.

Police Chief Caroll McCullough says his office has taken several reports of thefts from the machines the last few weeks from hotels along the Highway 76 strip and along Green Mountain Drive. A local car wash was targeted by the thieve/s as well.


McCullough says if you know who they are call the Branson Police Department at 334-3300, the CATCH line at 334-1085 or 9-1-1.
