The second-degree murder trial of a man from Monett set to begin this week in Barry County has been postponed until March 14th.
Prosecutors say Michael R. Huggins, 29, bludgeoned Josh Utter to death in September of 2007. Utter's, of Pierce City, mutilated body was discovered near Jenkins along Flat Creek by a conservation agent.
Another man, Gary L. Dillard, 34, also of Monett is charged with hindering prosecution in Utter's murder. He is also scheduled to appear in court next month.
